Founder and managing director of the company, Seamus is well known and has over 25 years wide-ranging experience in the geoenvironmental industry both in the UK and abroad. He is responsible for both the commercial and the technical direction of LBH WEMBLEY Geotechnical & Environmental. Seamus is one of the few people to have achieved the dual status of being professionally chartered both as a geologist and as an engineer. This has given him a unique ability to understand our Client’s needs fully and to bring a wealth of practical solutions to any situation.
He also specialises in the commercial and legal issues associated with the property development of contaminated sites
Seamus is registered as an expert witness on foundation issues.

 
 
Paul Hooley

One of our Principal Engineers, Paul has over 30 years experience in site investigation and geotechnical consultancy, both in the UK and abroad and has specialist experience in the design of piled foundations in weak rocks and stiff clays and has presented a number of papers on the subject. Paul specialises in geotechnical problems and has particular specialist experience in the modelling of complex soil-structure interaction problems associated with tunnels and deep basements.

Chris joined us in 1995 with a BEng in Engineering Geology and is well-versed in the planning and execution of both geotechnical and geoenvironmental ground investigations. He is particularly experienced in complex city-centre sites and sites with difficult ground conditions, including clay heave and chalk dissolution.
